12 Days Casablanca Trip via Merzouga and Marrakech

Day 1 : Casablanca – Rife Mountains – Chefchaouen.

You will be greeted by your guide at Casablanca’s airport, then  start your 12 Days Casablanca Trip via Merzouga and Marrakech towards the Center of Casablanca, where you will have the chance to see the Hassan II Mosque, the largest in Morocco and experience the coastal “Cornish” seaside. Afterwards, we will drive to Chefchaouen via the Rif Mountains, and Wazzan. your first night will be in the Blue city.

Day 2 : Visit Chefchaouen 

Take a guided tour of the “blue pearl” Chefchaouen. Wander through its charming stepped streets and between the blue whitewashed houses and shops. Learn about the history of the city and the many theories as to how it got its blue color.
Day 2 : Chefchaouen – Volubilis – Fes
Departure in the morning to Fez , we make a stop at the Roman ruins of Volubilis, the best archaeological site in Morocco with mosaics, then we will visit the Medina or the ancient city of Meknes and Bab el Mansour, the monumental gate and the Medina City of 17th century Next to Fez, accommodation in Riad.
Day 3 : Visit Fez
Libre Day to visit Fez, the oldest of the imperial cities, founded in 790 AD. Visit the old Medina and the Karaouiyne Mosque, whose central nave is adorned with flowers and elaborate Kufic writing carved in plaster. Do not miss the Islamic universities, including Abou-Anania and Attarine, which enjoys the exterior and interior decoration of the glow and the craftsmanship. Also see the Nejjarine fountain for colored tiles. Finally, explore the markets of Fez, the most fascinating of all Morocco, overnight in Riad.
Day 4 : Fez – Azrou – Merzouga Desert
After breakfast, departure to the desert, paying for a morning visit to Midelt, which includes spectacular views of the High Atlas Mountains, and Errachidia, a modern urban center, before driving directly to Merzouga to live the life of a Bedouin by the night in a Hotel in Merzouga Desert with the night sky and thousands of stars.
Day 4 : Visit Merzouga
wake-up befor sunrise walk to a high dunes for watch sunrise, then back to eat breakfast, then will go to Khamlia, see the Gnawa:a group of music and dance, visit the lake which has seasomel flocks of flamingos in the black desert called Hamada, eat lunch in Rissani: oldest imperial city and economic center for the region, visit the spic souk, products  and handicrafts, finally back to Merzouga to stay overnight in the camp after camels ride.
Day 5 : Merzouga – Erfoud – Tinghir
Breakfast and departure, passing through the town of Rissani, meeting centre of ancient caravans from the Sahara. Later we stop at Goulmima, where we will visit a Ksour (adobe walled village) dating from the fifteenth century and still inhabited by more than 2,500 people. Continuing our journey, we travel through semi-desert landscapes until we reach the oasis of Tinghir, possibly one of the most beautiful places in Morocco. Following the Todra River, we see impressive gorges that reach over 300m. Dinner and overnight.
Day 6 : Tinghir – Dades Valley – Ouarzazate
Breakfast and after a brief visit to the village, we take the road of the thousand kasbahs to reach the Dades River, where over time, the river has eroded the rocks, forming a peculiar landscape. Arrive in Ouarzazate one of the most important cities of southern Morocco, known for its intense cinematic activity, having to his credit films like Gladiator, Troy, The Mummy etc. Visit of the KasbahTaourirt. Dinner and overnight .
Day 7 : Ouarzazate – Ait Benhaddou – Marrakech
After breakfast, we take the road towards Ait Benhaddou, the queen of kasbahs, declared a UNESCO World Heritage site. Continuing along a winding road, through the pass of highest mountain in Morocco Tizi n Tichka ( 2,260 m ) to reach the imperial city of Marrakech. Cultural city tour of the red city, named because of the colour of its walls. Marrakech is filled with gardens, watered by underground wells (khettaras), which were built by the Almoravids and Saharan nomads in the eleventh century. A unique experience, stroll through the square “Djemaa El Fna “where life and activity of the city is concentrated. Dancers, storytellers, jugglers, artisans, merchants and snake charmers can all be found here. Bed and breakfast.
Day 9 : Visit Marrakech
The last day will be dedicated to the exploration of the Red City and all its hidden wonders. We will visit many sites that are considered the most important landmarks of Marrakech, These are: the Majorelle Gardens, the Koutoubia Tower, the Saadian tombs, the Bahia Palace. We will also visit the very famous Jamaa Lafna square,
Day 10 : Day Trip to Ozoud Waterfall
Breakfast and departure from the red city on the road towards the Ouzoud waterfalls, these are located 150 km north of Marrakech, in the midst of the Middle Atlas Mountains near the town of Beni Mellal. Ouzoud waterfalls, over 100 metres in three tiers, are some of the most beautiful cascades in North Africa, an ideal place where you can enjoy the tranquillity after the business of Marrakech.  by the evening we take way back to Marrakech Overnight .
Day 11 : Day Trip to Essouira
After breakfast, departure to Essaouira. The main entrance to the port of this splendid city was built in 1184 and is called the Door de of Marine and is truly an architectural marvel. Sit back, relax, and the hills overlooking the eastern horizon ensnare you, before heading back to your Riad in Marrakech.
Day 12 : Marrakech – Casablanca
after breakfast we Travel back to Casablanca to connect with your flights with the best memories and memories of Morocco for the next.
